Registration Information

The 32nd Annual PEHSC Conference (2009) is now closed.

Payment Methods

PEHSC only accepts online payments via PayPal (allowing credit cards, debit cards, or direct withdrawals from a bank account). If paying via check, you must print and mail your registration form. Cash will only accepted onsite during the conference. Purchase orders will not be accepted.

Relief Association Funds

It has long been a consistent position of DCED that training sessions provided at EMS and other conferences may be paid with relief association funds. In order for reimbursement to be made (or direct payments), the training must be consistent with satisfying certification or recertification of basic EMS training requirements. CEU's for basic medical support for non-certified personnel are also included in this approval for reimbursement.

Registration

You may register at the registration desk during the following times:

Please bring your confirmation letter with you to the lines marked "pre registration." Walk – in registrations will only be accepted in the line marked "on-site registrations." Walk – in registrations will NOT be accepted for preconference sessions.

Badges and Continuing Education Cards

Upon registration, all conference attendees will receive a name badge and continuing education cards. The badges must be worn at all times to enter conference sessions. The continuing education cards must be presented at each session you attend to validate your attendance for continuing education purposes.

Continuing Education Credits

The Pennsylvania Department of Health will issue continuing education credits for each approved session of the conference. The con-ed hours listed in the brochure are subject to change. Please check your on-site registration packet for any changes.

Exhibit Hall Hours

Select vendors will have the opportunity for demonstrations. Please review your registration packet for a list of vendors, dates and locations.

Individual Schedule

Feel free to attend any of the lectures. The 32nd Annual EMS Conference does not require you to select a particular "track" to attend.

Cancellation Policy

Conference registrations may be refunded up to 100% if a written request is provided to PEHSC prior to August 1, 2009. No refunds will be awarded after August 1st. All refunds will be processed by September 15, 2009. PEHSC is not responsible for the refund of funds paid, directly or indirectly, to organizations which have deadlines other than the above policy.

Lunch and Breaks

Lunch and breaks will be provided at scheduled times throughout the day. There is no additional charge for these meals and breaks. Please consult the schedule of events for specific times and locations of the breaks. Anyone wishing to attend the awards luncheon on Friday, August 14th must reserve their spot by filling out the appropriate space on the registration form. Deadline to reserve attendance at the awards luncheon is Sunday, August 3rd. If you wish for your family members to eat lunch with you, lunch-only tickets may be purchased during registration times for an additional fee. Please contact PEHSC prior to August 1, 2009 if you have any special dietary needs.
