2009 Annual EMS Awards Luncheon

Pennsylvania’s annual EMS awards luncheon will be held on Friday, August
14, 2009. The awards luncheon begins at 12:00 pm and features the recognition
of Pennsylvania’s EMS providers. The luncheon is included for Friday's
conference attendees and additional tickets may be purchased for $35 each.
You must preregister for the event . Awards include: FR/EMT/Paramedic/PHRN
of the Year; Instructor of the Year; Dispatcher of the Year; Ambulance Service(s)
of the Year; Volunteer of the Year; Amanda E. Wertz Memorial EMSC Award;
Nancy Caroline Illness & Injury Prevention Award ; EMS Risk Management
Award; Rescue Service of the Year, Rescue Technician of the Year; George
E. Moerkirk, MD Memorial Senior EMS Volunteer of the Year; and Emergency
Physician of the Year.
Hershey Park
This year, two different types of Hersheypark tickets are being made available to conference participants and their families. Please review each type and order carefully. Remember, the "EMS Day" tickets include a social gathering AND a catered dinner AND are only valid on Thursday ONLY. Please reserve your tickets ahead of time as we cannot guarantee how many tickets will be available on-site.
EMS Day at Hersheypark

EMS Day at Hersheypark includes a day of fun relaxing at the park while
giving you an opportunity to network and socialize with other EMS providers
and leaders. A catered evening meal (from 6 pm - 7 pm) will be provided
under a pavilion in the Wildcat Catering area of the park. Tickets are available
for the full day (arriving before 5:00 pm) or Sunset admission (arriving
after 5:00 pm). This is a great opportunity for your family to have fun
at the park while you are in session, and then you can join them for dinner.
Meal includes: Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Pulled BBQ Pork, Baked Beans, Pasta
Salad, Chips, Ice Cream and Pepsi products. For the full day (arriving at
the park before 5:00 pm) the ticket price is $46 for adults (9-55) or $41
for children and Senior Citizens (Under 9 or Over 55) and Sunset ticket
price is $39.50 (all ages) and are valid on Thursday, 8/13/09 ONLY. A complimentary
shuttle bus will be made available for Sunset ticket holders to take them
from the conference site to the Hersheypark once conference sessions have
ended for the day.
Discount Hersheypark Tickets
For those not wishing to participate in the EMS Day at Hersheypark or would like to go on a different day, standard discounted tickets are available for the purchase price of $30 for adults (9-55) and $23.50 children/senior citizens (Under 9 or over 55). This ticket price includes admission to the park only and are valid any day of the week.
